Call for Expressions of Interest: European Representative for the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics – Council of Student Organizations

Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to invite expressions of interest for the position of European Representative (PhD Student or Early Career Researcher) on the Council of Student Organizations, part of the International Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics.

This representative will play a key role in supporting and strengthening the European branch of our network in the lead-up to the 23rd IAGG World Congress of Gerontology and Geriatrics scheduled for July 2026 in Amsterdam. We are especially seeking a motivated and collaborative individual who is keen to contribute to the visibility and activity of the European region and serve as a key liaison for promoting and supporting on-the-ground activities during the congress.
In addition to supporting preparations for the congress, they will also be invited to take a leadership role in growing and coordinating the European branch of the committee beyond the congress, contributing to long-term capacity-building and regional engagement (see more details below).

This is a wonderful opportunity for professional development and networking, and an excellent way to contribute to a global community of peers and experts. The role would involve regular engagement with the broader international committee and opportunities to co-lead specific initiatives.
